Brazilian Lobster is a highly regarded warm-water species known for its sweet, tender meat and consistent quality. It is widely used in both tail format and as whole cooked product — both of which are available through Wild Seas for the Australian market.
100% of all Brazilian Lobsters sold by Wild Seas are wild-caught.
Sustainability & Management
The Brazilian Lobster fishery is one of the largest spiny lobster fisheries in the world, encompassing a mix of artisanal fishers and industrial-scale vessels.
Fishery improvements over recent years have led to better stock management and handling practices. Many lobsters are now delivered live to processing plants via an expanding network of coastal tank systems, ensuring excellent product condition prior to freezing or cooking.
